This awkwardly shaped garden project in Bungay, on the Norfolk/Suffolk border was set across many different levels and suffered from poor access. Our new garden design centred around a large, wrap around porcelain patio, with steps leading up to a raised seating area and lawned garden. To soften the hard lanscaping and bring interest to the space, new borders were created with a range of feature planting and a new cedar slatted fence was built to hide an ugly garage wall.
Beautiful grey porcelain tile was chosen for the patio and steps, giving a modern look with the additional benefit of being easy to maintain and clean. Retaining walls were constructed, topped with the same grey porcelain tile and veneered with dry stone porcelain cladding to define the different levels in the garden. To finish the design a dark grey, black and white gravel edging was chosen to complement the new paving.
